Vaux SMS Terms & Conditions

Program description
Vaux (operated by Vauxx Inc., "Vaux," "we," "us") sends recurring text messages to users who provide and verify their mobile number. Messages include one-time verification codes and account/service notifications, and — for users who join a Group Trip — trip notifications such as invitations, welcomes, flight and itinerary updates, and settle-up reminders.
How you opt in
You opt in by creating a Vaux account at app.vauxlabs.io:
1. On the first signup screen, you enter your first name and your own mobile number.
2. The screen discloses that by continuing you agree to receive text messages from Vaux, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out.
3. You tap "Continue," which submits your number.
4. Vaux immediately sends a 6-digit one-time verification code by text to that number.
5. You enter the code on the next screen to confirm the number is yours and complete signup.
By entering and verifying your own mobile number, you consent to receive the messages described above at that number, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase. The same verify-by-code opt-in applies to phone login.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity — for example, a verification code when you sign in, or trip notifications when you join or manage a Group Trip.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier plan. Vaux does not charge you for these messages.
How you opt out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message: "You've successfully unsubscribed from Vaux. You will no longer receive messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for help." You will not receive further messages unless you re-enroll (for example, by replying START or signing up again).

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
